The weirdest "departure lounge" in the world at Kisumu airport in Kenya. If you are a passenger you must pass through security before you are allowed into the beer garden. Non passengers can simply enter through the outside gate.

EDIT: Kisimu upgraded their airport in 2011, it now has a very modern airport and looking at photos on the web the beergarden is sadly no more.
